Boca ya está en Barcelona para jugar la Copa Joan Gamper ante el equipo de Lionel Messi. El plantel de Guillermo Barros Schelotto arribó a la Ciudad Condal, tras 14 horas de viaje con escala en Madrid incluida, y se alojó en un exclusivo hotel de la coqueta avenida Paseo de Gracia. Los 20 jugadores llegaron y tras un desayuno liviano, se mantuvieron en sus habitaciones hasta las 13, la hora del almuerzo.
El técnico de Boca sale a dar un paseo, pero antes Guillermo firma camisetas a los hinchas que hacen guardia frente al hotel.
Hay expectativa en los hinchas que se asoman al alojamiento pero también se nota en los jugadores. Ninguno se quiso perder este partido ni este viaje a Cataluña. Por eso llegaron todos los titulares, todas las figuras. Algunos que estaban con algunas molestias físicas fueron consultados por el cuerpo técnico para ver si estaban en condiciones de viajar (4 aviones en 4 días, 28 horas en el aire) pero ninguno se quiso perder esta cita. Es que significa enfrentar a Lionel Messi y jugar en el Camp Nou, algo que muy pocos integrantes del elenco xeneize vivieron.
